(2023-24) BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND:

Our 2022 MLK Day "Pollinator Pathways" provided an opportunity for diverse community members to learn about ways to strengthen and steward our natural resources and positively impact the pollinators who give and sustain our life sources.
Participants were also able to get creative in their stewardship efforts.

Diverse individuals, organizations, schools, girl scout troops, farmers market attendees, climate and environmental activists, creatives, etc. came together throughout the months of January - May and built, ornamented, and delivered STUNNING homes for our pollinators.  Scroll down to see some of last year's designs.

Select creations were featured in our "END ERASURE"
Integrated Arts  Climate & Environmental Justice Exhibit curated by Harvesting Humanity Founder & CEO, Eboné M. Lockett and presented during Harvesting Humanity's facilitation of the United States Climate Action Network Annual Convention (USCAN) held June 2022 here in Charlotte.  The birdhouses also have become quite the attraction at several of our virtual and in-person community events.

For 2023 and 2024, we will offer desiring community members an opportunity to contribute their hands and artistry to our very own Earth Day Exhibit to be launched in April, 2024.

 365 DAY(S) OF SERVICE
"One of our greatest strengths is our love for Humanity .." Dr. John Henrik Clarke

“All labor that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence.”
~ Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

A HUGE THANK-YOU TO ALL THOSE WHO MADE DR. MLK DAY(S) OF SERVICE A WEEK WHERE HUMANITY WAS TRULY SERVED.  AND PLEASE JOIN ME IN SHINING THE SOLUTIONARY SPOTLIGHT ON OUR GROWING LIST OF SPONSORS AND VOLUNTEER GROUPS . LET THIS WEEK - AND THIS WORK - BE A REMINDER OF OUR COLLECTIVE POWER AND THE NECESSITY OF UTILIZING THAT COLLECTIVE POWER TO SERVE 365 DAYS OF THE YEAR!

Being in service to: people, places and our planet -and cultivating leaders who do the same- are anchors for the work that we do here at Harvesting Humanity 365 DAYS  of the year.  With each experience, we seek to honor and nurture humanity and we set our intentions to serve in a way that is both dignified and positively impactful.

By supporting our experiences through your time, talents and/or treasures, you join the growing list of local, national and global Solutionaries who are positively impacting people and the spaces and places where they love, live, work and play.

Please join us in continuing  to benefit neighbors and nature in our local, national and global communities.

These service-learning experiences not only benefit food security for neighbors in need, but also provide solutions for restoring native pollinator habitats, practicing green construction and clean energy stewardship, and increasing knowledge and application of environmentally healthy and healing home- and communal- living habits.
